Company History
For more than 30 years, SINGH + Associates has provided high quality planning, design, and engineering services delivered with care and attention. But our services alone don’t begin to describe the underlying culture and orientation to our business. The core values we uphold – INTEGRITY, EQUALITY, GRATITUDE, and KINDNESS – have served as a foundation to our practice from its inception because of the dynamic force of our founder, S. Singh Rikhiraj, PE.
In 1992, at the age of 50, Mr. Rikhiraj established our company to harness his entrepreneurial spirit and provide cutting edge and collaborative civil engineering services for public infrastructure projects in a highly competitive marketplace. Through his driving determination and commitment to core values, he gathered a team of quality professionals with a broad spectrum of design and engineering capabilities who embraced the same commitment to strong business ethics and client satisfaction.
In 2019, the firm transitioned to our second generation of Singh family ownership. Harvind K. Singh (daughter of Mr. Singh) assumed the lead of SINGH + Associates as President and Owner. Ms. Singh joined the company in 1999 and was the driving force behind the firm’s growth and development - advancing the corporate structure and integrating effective management practices, policies, and procedures.
She is dedicated to Mr. Singh’s legacy of a business culture centered in Integrity and Kindness while advancing the development of SINGH’s Prime Consultant engineering capabilities as well as SINGH’s expansion into new geographic markets and service sectors.
Today, SINGH + Associates retains more than 50 professionals who specialize in transportation engineering, roadway lighting lighting systems, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) as well as offering expertise facility MEP|FP engineering, and CM services.
