Join a growing employee-owned Company. Seeking a hands-on professional that “works the floor” and thrives on organizational development in a fast-paced warehouse/packaging environment.

•Develop and administer various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.
•Direct, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the organization’s human resource function and performance to match company short and long term growth.
•Oversee facility to guarantee a safe and secure working environment and maintain compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) standards.
•Develop safety programs, policies and training for all employees. Coordinate safety committee, and conduct new employee safety training. Process all work-related injury paperwork and worker’s compensation claims. Maintain OSHA 300 logs and MSDS documentation.
•Implement new employee orientation and benefits enrollment and changes. Assist with exit interview process and termination of benefits and processing COBRA.
•Responsible for maintenance of confidential personnel and benefits files.
•Maintain and update job descriptions, and assist in the administration and monitoring of performance appraisal process.
•Perform customer service functions by assisting employees and supervisors with routine personnel and benefits information and interpretation of personnel policies and procedures.
•Develop human resource planning models to identify competency, knowledge, and talent gaps. Areas of activity will include talent management through proper succession planning programs for key contributor and management positions; training and development programs employees for more significant responsibilities, and general business development programs to enhance employee knowledge and understanding the business of the company.
•Coordinate and schedule employee training programs and maintain all training records. Process tuition reimbursement applications and payments.
•File annual EEO-1 report; maintain other records, reports and logs pertaining to applicant flow procedures.
•Maintains Affirmative Action Plan and see that the company is in compliance with all regulations.
•Establish and maintain employee relations by developing communications such as newsletters, bulletin boards, and safety board. Plan and implement programs, events, awards and celebrations to recognize employee and operation achievement.
•Participate in and support the principles of Open Book Management and recognizes the responsibilities of being an owner of the Company.
•Demonstrate solid understanding of profit and loss.

Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
BS/BA in Human Resource Management or related discipline, Professional in Human Resources certification preferred (PHR/SPHR), Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred, 3+ years HR professional experience including safety in a similar environment
